I decided to switch to Durham Pharmacy after repeated annoyances with the Walgreens at Fayetteville and 54. Already Durham Pharmacy is proving to be more capable and caring. I wish I had made the switch months ago.

Did you know you can walk into a pharmacy and not stand in line for 10 plus minutes? I won't be going back to that pharmacy on the corner. My very first prescription with them was late in the evening after a doctor’s appointment, I honestly didn’t expect any pharmacy to fill it before closing. I had barely pulled out of the parking lot when my phone rang. They told me my prescription was already ready. They were about to close but said they could wait for me if I needed them to. I was sick, exhausted, and desperately wanting my cough medicine, and that simple offer felt like someone handing me a warm blanket and a cup of soup. I didn’t even need them to stay open, but the fact that they offered still sticks with me. That kind of care and customer service is rare to find. Over the past year, they’ve shown the same level of care again and again. Real people who actually care, who treat you like a neighbor instead of a number. Durham Pharmacy is truly a treasure, and I will happily shout their praises from the mountaintops. Forget the big guys. Support this gem of a local pharmacy.

I had such a wonderful experience at Durham Pharmacy! The entire staff is welcoming, but I especially want to recognize Sree, the pharmacist. He is incredibly kind, patient, and truly takes the time to answer all of my questions without ever making me feel rushed. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and wants them to feel informed and comfortable. It’s rare to find such thoughtful and attentive service these days. I highly recommend Durham Pharmacy to anyone looking for personalized, compassionate care!
